Surgical operation and hospitalisation

  • Arthroscopic surgery: refers to procedures in which surgeons operate on joints through small incisions. This is in contrast to the single large incision used in traditional open surgery.
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery: is a procedure that detours (or bypasses) blood around a blocked section of one or more coronary arteries.
  • Hysterectomy: is the surgical removal of the uterus. Includes subtotal, supracervical or partial hysterectomy, total or complete hysterectomy, total hysterectomy plus unilateral/bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and radical hysterectomy.
  • Hernia Surgery: can help to relieve pain, return the hernia abdominal organs to their correct place and, strengthen the weak muscle area. Includes Inguinal Hernia, Ventral Hernia, Femoral/Groin Hernia, Umbilical Hernia, Epigastric Hernia, Hiatal Hernia, Paraesophageal Hernia, Abdominal Hernia and Recurrent Hernia.
  • Cataract surgery: is a procedure to remove the lens of your eye and, in most cases, replace it with an artificial lens (monofocal lens included).
  • Prostate laser surgery: is used to relieve moderate to severe urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate, a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Includes laser photo-vaporization and enucleation of the prostate.
